Visual elements can create a unique and replicable graphic identity that express NMUSN’s values and engage visitors before, during, and after visiting the museum. Visitors expect a unified experience across interactions with a place. Graphic identity can help physical and digital experiences flow seamlessly from one to the other and make micro moments more memorable.

This logo for the National Museum of the United States Navy echoes the building form in an expression of balance between the three elemental forces of land, sea, and air. The logotype uses the Navy’s secondary typeface to connect to the Navy brand without encroaching on it’s identity.

The iconography references a fleet of vessels and embodies the confluence of land, sea, and air.

And emphasizes the Navy ethos exemplified in its three core values.
